We had some aging stone edging and a crumbling concrete front step. All very old and tired looking. I called Mario and explained our situation. Mario and his team have been our go-to over the last couple years for all things masonry and landscaping. We chose MACH based on the integrity and ease with which it was to work with Mario on estimates for our dream/forever backyard to stay consistent with our vision and budget, in addition to liking how his team's retaining walls turned out. Despite a number of curveballs presented by the pandemic, Mario was great about communication and we were able to conclude our project which was no small feat: a 4x30 natural stone retaining wall incorporating a small hill (it's beautiful!), granite stairs, and a large patio area with multiple patterns. MACH also graded the backyard, took down a shed, shaped out gravel paths, saved our hydrangeas and moved them, edged and mulched beds, and laid down sod. I never felt pressured to take particular options yet appreciated his expertise and guidance because I'm not an expert myself. We absolutely love our backyard all the more with each year and so do our guests. Since then we've had some further work with granite cobble edging out front, stone paths, and helping with drains away from the house. We've consistently been happy and look forward to working with Mario and his team for any needs in the future. I appreciate the trusted relationship that's only grown over time and Mario clearly takes pride and responsibility in the work he and his team do.
We have a large retaining wall that was slowly failing when we bought our house in Lynn, and was in a tricky spot behind our garage, on the property line. Because it was large (10 ft high and more than 25 ft long), we had trouble finding someone who would take on a project of that scale, and met Mario/MACH Masonry because they had done a nice retaining wall for a neighbor of ours.Mario immediately communicated a clear timeline and cost, started on time, dealt well with a major unforeseeable demolition issue, and was a pleasure to work with.We’d recommend him and his team to anyone who has a big project. The price was reasonable considering the scale and in line with other estimates. He also built a stone staircase for us into our adjoining lot, and did a beautiful job with that too.
Mario and MACH helped us completely transform our outdoor space, from garage demo to grading, large tree removal, installing fencing, new field stone steps, field stone retaining wall with bench and approximately 800 sq feet of pavers, among other smaller projects.Being the daughter of a GC and having done numerous projects inside our home, we have had a lot of exposure to contractors and sub-contractors. Working with Mario was the best experience.If you’re looking for someone who will do what they say, when they say it, and performs high quality work, then look no further. I hired MACH to demolish my back (failing) concrete stairs and construct new stairs, a patio and multiple walkways. I can't say enough good things about Mario and his team. Mario was extremely responsive and showed up when promised. He listened to what I was hoping to achieve and offered his expertise/ideas to ensure the finished project was both functional and beautiful. The final result exceeded my expectations. His crew was extremely professional and clearly take pride in their work. I would hire MACH again without hesitation.
Mario and his team were fantastic to work with! We got the best and most fair quote from MACH. Mario was able to fit our 12 x 25 foot patio in even with the busy season approaching.MACH was able to start the work earlier than planned and they finished it in two days. Yes, two days! Originally we thought a week. The sped up timeline is by no means an indication that they put in any less than 100%. It's simply a testament to how professional Mario and his team are and how efficiently they can work. The pavers we got put in are beautifully laid and are built to last. Mario even came back the next week and planted a few flowers around our trees as a finishing touch!We now have a beautiful back patio we can utilize throughout the summer. Thank you so much to Mario and his team, I would recommend MACH over and over again!
We employed MACH for a large landscaping and masonry project. They did a beautiful job in installing our new patio, and also in repositioning huge boulders in order to re-landscape a portion of our backyard. We are extremely happy with the results! Mario is a pleasure to work with... he's a perfectionist whose goal is to please his customers. He communicates well and is quick to respond. I can't say enough positive things about Mario and his crew... they're the best!
Mario and his team installed a patio with a walkway, planted a wall of trees along our fence for privacy, dug out and framed around our swingset filling it with mulch, and dug out a section of weeds in our driveway replacing it with stones. We could not be happier with the end result. Our backyard has been completely transformed and Mario's vision guided us through the process. The team was very detailed and made sure that everything was meticulously done to perfection. The service was very professional and everything was reasonably priced. Highly highly recommend you give MACH Masonry and Landscaping a call for your next project.
Where do I start? Mario and his team are VERY talented -- I can't recommend them enough. They do quality work and always check-in to make sure you're happy with their progress. Mario and his team are very respectful -- They clean up after themselves every day (we had quite a bit of work done in our backyard so there was a ton of dirt being moved around). I cant thank Mario enough for his thoughtful approach to his work. Bottom line - don't think twice before working with this team!
