Mario and his team were great from start to finish. He was easily accesible from the start and quick to setup a date to discuss what we needed done . We had some aging stone edging and a crumbling concrete front step. All very old and tired looking. I called Mario and explained our situation. He quickly came up with solutions that fit our budget and completely transformed our front yard. It came out absolutely beautiful. I'm am 💯 percent satisfied with the quality of the work. My husband reached out to Mario and he was at our house within a few hours to look at our property and give us a quote. We were looking for a spring cleanup, mulch and the lawn. Mario and his team have been our go-to over the last couple years for all things masonry and landscaping. We chose MACH based on the integrity and ease with which it was to work with Mario on estimates for our dream/forever backyard to stay consistent with our vision and budget, in addition to liking how his team's retaining walls turned out. Despite a number of curveballs presented by the pandemic, Mario was great about communication and we were able to conclude our project which was no small feat: a 4x30 natural stone retaining wall incorporating a small hill (it's beautiful!), granite stairs, and a large patio area with multiple patterns. MACH also graded the backyard, took down a shed, shaped out gravel paths, saved our hydrangeas and moved them, edged and mulched beds, and laid down sod. I never felt pressured to take particular options yet appreciated his expertise and guidance because I'm not an expert myself. We absolutely love our backyard all the more with each year and so do our guests. Since then we've had some further work with granite cobble edging out front, stone paths, and helping with drains away from the house. We've consistently been happy and look forward to working with Mario and his team for any needs in the future. I appreciate the trusted relationship that's only grown over time and Mario clearly takes pride and responsibility in the work he and his team do.
We have a large retaining wall that was slowly failing when we bought our house in Lynn, and was in a tricky spot behind our garage, on the property line. Because it was large (10 ft high and more than 25 ft long), we had trouble finding someone who would take on a project of that scale, and met Mario/MACH Masonry because they had done a nice retaining wall for a neighbor of ours.
Mario immediately communicated a clear timeline and cost, started on time, dealt well with a major unforeseeable demolition issue, and was a pleasure to work with.
We’d recommend him and his team to anyone who has a big project. The price was reasonable considering the scale and in line with other estimates. He also built a stone staircase for us into our adjoining lot, and did a beautiful job with that too.

Being the daughter of a GC and having done numerous projects inside our home, we have had a lot of exposure to contractors and sub-contractors. Working with Mario was the best experience.
